Galaxy Explorer is a quick solo game that was made for Instajam 2022 and is designed to be played in an Instagram post. The following rules will appear in the post's caption.

INTRO

Galaxy Explorer is a game for one player, where you are tasked with exploring every planet in the galaxy before you run out of dice.

YOU WILL NEED

One set of RPG dice: d4, d6, d8, 2d10, d12, d20

HOW TO PLAY

Start at Location 1.

Choose one of the two planets to explore.

You need to roll one of your dice and score equal to or higher than the Explore Cost.

If you roll lower than the Explore Cost, lose the die you used and roll again OR roll another die and add the two results together.

If you roll equal to or higher than the Explore Cost, gain the die mentioned as a Reward (If the reward includes one of the dice you just rolled, keep it instead of losing it). Then move on to the next location.

YOU LOSE the game if you ever lose all of your dice.

YOU WIN the game if you successfully explore a planet at Location 7.

HOW TO SCORE

Add your final Location Number to the number of dice you have left. Eg. If you run out of dice at Location 5 your final score will be 5. If you successfully explore planet Necrox at Location 7 and still have one dice left your score will be 10 (Location 7 + 1 dice + 2 for exploring Necrox).
